Environmental Investigation Project for a Suspected Landfill Site of a Chemical Enterprise in Dantu District

The chemical company is currently producing, the main products are organic pollutants such as 2-chlorotoluene and 4-chlorotoluene.

It was reported that landfilled hazardous waste, excavated under the witness of the local Environmental Protection Bureau and our unit, and no hazardous waste was found.

However, the odor is abnormal during excavation and there may be pollution in the soil.

Through investigation and evaluation, organic pollutants such as benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, 2-chlorotoluene, 4-chlorotoluene and total petroleum hydrocarbons were found in soil and groundwater.
