Chief scientist, elected in the “CAS Pioneer Hundred Talents Program” (the introduction of foreign outstanding talents) in 2010 Professor Chen is currently serving as deputy director of the Key Laboratory of the Soil Environment and Pollution Remediation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher and doctoral tutor. He is a doctor major in Sedimentary Geochemistry of the Department of Geology, deputy director researcher of the Soil Environment and Pollution Remediation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and doctoral tutor. Moreover, he had served as senior environment adviser of London Olympic Games 2012 (2005-2009); and consultant director of the Britain Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).
